Alumni - Magda Tomasini, appointed Director of the Depp
Magda Tomasini graduated from ENSAE Paris in 1998 and joined INSEE in 2008 as Head of the Household Income and Wealth Division. In 2011, she was appointed Deputy Director of the Solidarity Observation Department of the Research, Studies, Evaluation and Statistics Directorate (Drees). Five years later, she was appointed Director of the Institut national d'études démographiques (Ined). In the Council of Ministers of July 13, 2023, Magda Tomasini was appointed Director of Depp (Direction de l'évaluation, de prospective et de la performance) for the Ministry of National Education and Youth (MENJ) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR), effective July 15, 2023.
She has extensive experience in building and analyzing statistical information systems for public policy evaluation in the field of social policy. She has published scientific articles on various social issues such as over-schooling, poverty and income inequality.
Magda Tomasini is a member School Council of the ENSAE Paris.
