Pay the apprenticeship tax

The apprenticeship tax is a tax paid by companies to contribute to the financing of initial training. Through this essential resource for the school, our "apprenticeship tax" partners support the professionalization and professional integration of our students.
Pay the apprenticeship tax

Supporting pedagogical innovation at ENSAE Paris and the professionalization of its students

The apprenticeship tax is the only tax of which a part can be freely allocated by companies to the institutions of their choice. This contribution allows ENSAE Paris to be more ambitious and agile in carrying out its own projects, but also to actively contribute to those undertaken within GENES and as part of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris), particularly in terms of international influence and research development.

How to Pay My Apprenticeship Tax to ENSAE Paris in 2024?

The year 2024 follows the implementation of Law No. 2018-771 for the freedom to choose one’s professional future (Official Journal of September 6, 2018), which reforms the funding of professional training and implements a transfer of the collection of legal professional training and apprenticeship contributions to the Urssaf network.

ENSAE Paris is authorized to receive the apprenticeship tax as part of the remaining 13% (i.e., 0.09% of the gross payroll) through GENES (Groupe des Écoles Nationales d’Économie et Statistique). The institution code is: (UAI EF) 0912381U.

The different stages of the collection process are as follows:

  • Allocation by Companies

The stage where companies choose the institutions/organizations they wish to support will be done electronically via the SOLTEA allocation platform in two periods, with the opening dates as follows:
- May 27, 2024, to August 2, 2024, for the first period
- August 12, 2024, to October 4, 2024, for the second period

  • Collection

In 2024, the 0.09% will be directly collected from companies by URSSAF/MSA on May 5 or May 15, 2024.
Consult the declarant's guide: https://www.urssaf.fr/portail/files/live/sites/urssaf/files/documents/CFPTA-Guide_Declarant.pdf

  • Transfers to Authorized Institutions

The funds collected by URSSAF will be transferred to the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC), which will redistribute them via bank transfers according to the companies’ allocations to the authorized institutions as per the following schedule:

- The transfer for the first period will be made on August 9, 2024
- The transfer for the second period will be made on October 11, 2024

ENSAE Paris has teamed up with AGIRES Développement to offer you a personalized, secure and transparent support system.

Our biggest partners in the apprenticeship tax

The professions for which we prepare our engineering students, doctoral candidates and graduates of specialized masters programs are strategic for innovation and process optimization in all areas of society. Data scientist, actuary, financial expert, statistician, economist... ENSAE Paris' training combines scientific excellence with an entrepreneurial spirit through its courses, the school's dedicated events and our internal and external institutional partnerships.

We must therefore continue to adjust our teaching to the challenges of tomorrow, continue to diversify our pedagogical approaches, strengthen our students' awareness of innovation, and continue to recruit professors and researchers of the highest international standards.

To make all this possible, the School needs the contribution of economic players. The contribution to the training provided by ENSAE Paris is an investment in the future that can be transformed into a strategic partnership with our School. Companies have the opportunity to support our engineering school in its development objectives thanks to the apprenticeship tax but also several partnership formulas.
