Only 20 km south of Paris, ENSAE Paris is located in the heart of the École Polytechnique campus, accessible from the Boulevard des Maréchaux which runs around it.

  • From the gates of Italy and Orléans by the A6
    Coming from Paris by the A6-A10, take the direction Nantes-Bordeaux, then direction Cité Scientifique (left lane - N444) then Saclay. Continue on the D36 then turn left at the sign for École Polytechnique. Follow the road to the ticket office (mechanical barriers) and then follow the signs "ENSAE Paris" leading to the boulevard des Maréchaux.
  • From the Pont de Sèvres by the N118
    Coming from Paris on the N118 from the Pont de Sèvres in the direction of (Chartres) Nantes-Bordeaux (or having joined it at Petit Clamart), take exit number 8: Toussus le Noble / Saclay / Gif-sur-Yvette. At the traffic circle, turn right to join the D36, direction Vauhallan / Polytechnique / Palaiseau. Continue on the D36 and turn right at the Ecole Polytechnique sign. Continue on the road until you reach the counters, then follow the signs "ENSAE Paris" leading to the Bd des Maréchaux.
  • From the N118 
    Coming from the N118, direction Province-Paris, take exit 9 " Centre universitaire - Grands Ecoles ", follow the D128 Bd Thomas Gobert until the Bd des Maréchaux. Turn right on Bd des Maréchaux then after the first bend, take the 1st road on the left avenue Fresnel.

The RER B and C trains allow you to reach the campus from Paris. You can get off at the "Massy-Palaiseau" station (RER B or C) and take a 10-minute bus ride, or get off at the "Ecole Polytechnique - Lozère" station and climb the 300 steps.

From Massy-Palaiseau station (RER B and C)

When you arrive at Massy-Palaiseau station, take the footbridge and head towards the Atlantis bus station. Take the Albatrans 91.06 or 91.10 bus and get off at the "École polytechnique / Lozère" stop located a few meters from ENSAE Paris (about 10 minutes by bus).

From Lozère station (RER B) - for sportsmen and women!

When you arrive at the Lozère station, take exit 1 "Place de la gare, École polytechnique". Follow the pedestrian access and climb the 300 steps to the entrance of the campus (about 15-20 minutes walk).

Orly airport is very close to the Saclay plateau (20 minutes by car). You can also reach the plateau by public transport:

  • 1st option (45 min): take the orlyval shuttle towards Antony, get off at Antony station and take the RER B towards Saint-Rémy-lès-Chevreuse, and get off at Lozère station, then follow the "École polytechnique" path
  • 2nd option (1h) : take the bus 91.10 direction Saint Quentin gare routière and get off at the stop " Polytechnique Lozère ".

If all the Parisian train stations allow you to reach the Plateau de Saclay, the Massy-TGV station is the closest. You can then go directly to ENSAE Paris: take the albatrans 91.06 or 91.10 bus and get off at the "Ecole Polytechnique / Lozère" stop located a few meters from ENSAE (about 10 minutes by bus).
