Sirine Louati, winner of the Maryam Mirzakhani Junior Prize
Sirine Louati, a 3rd year engineering student at ENSAE Paris, specialising in Data Science, Statistics and Learning, has been awarded the Maryam Mirzakhani Junior Prize by the Jacques Hadamard Mathematical Foundation for her first research project in mathematics, "Estimation of the mean of heteroscedastic Gaussian random variables", under the supervision of Jaouad Mourtada, a teacher-researcher at ENSAE Paris. Congratulations to her!

Alumni - Magda Tomasini, appointed Director of the Depp
Magda Tomasini (ENSAE 1998), Director of INED since 2016, was called to other duties by the Council of Ministers on July 13, 2023, after 7 and a half years at the helm of the institute. As of July 15, 2023, Magda Tomasini becomes Director of Depp (Direction de l'évaluation, de prospective et de la performance) for the MENJ and MESR.

QS WUR 2024: IP Paris in the Top 40 of the world's best universities
Institut Polytechnique de Paris has gained 10 places in the QS World University Rankings (WUR) 2024, moving into the Top 40 of the world's best universities, in 38th position. IP Paris also ranks 10th worldwide in terms of its graduates' reputation with employers.
