On January 12, CREST and the Department of Economics at Institut Polytechnique de Paris hosted its annual Nobel Prize in Economics Lecture at CREST-ENSAE Paris.

The event featured Philippe Aghion, 2025 Nobel Prize laureate in Economics, with an introduction by Antonin Bergeaud, winner of the 2025 Best Young Economist Prize.

In his lecture, The Economics of Creative Destruction, Philippe Aghion revisited the foundations of innovation-driven growth and shared key insights on:
