IP Paris in the Top 100 global universities for its first ranking by THE

10 Sep. 2021

In the Times Higher Education (THE) 2022 ranking published on September 2, 2021, IP Paris made a remarkable entry by joining the Top 100 "best universities in the world", ranking 95th.

Produced and published since 2004 by the British newspaper Times Higher Education, this annual ranking covers all the missions, both teaching/training and research, provided by more than 1,500 higher education institutions.

For its very first THE ranking, IP Paris has risen to 3rd place in France, thus confirming the excellence of its five founding schools - École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis - on the French and international scene of higher education and research institutions.

On Thursday, September 16, Times Higher Education published the first part of its World University Rankings by Subject 2022. For its entry, IP Paris is ranked 22nd worldwide (2nd France) in Physical sciences (mathematics and statistics, physics and astronomy, chemistry, geology, environmental sciences, and earth and marine sciences) and 84th (4th France) in Life sciences (agriculture and forestry, biological sciences, veterinary science and sport science).
