Faculty Bio

Lecturer-researcher in entrepreneurship and innovation at Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, holder of the "Digital Inventions" Chair dedicated to digital creativity, Flavien Bazenet has been directing the "International Business Engineer/Digital" Master's degree since 2012 and co-direct the "Digital Inventions: Designer, Engineer, Manager" Master's degree. He coordinates several interdisciplinary programmes involving managers, engineers and designers, including the FIRST open-innovation programme of the Mines-Télécom Foundation for 5 years and the "Creativity and Innovation Week" which brings together 450 students and for which he received the Educational Innovation Prize in 2016. Within IMT Business School, he coordinates the MooC "Creative Thinking: Managing Digital Creativity" and participate in the design of a MOOC dedicated to the "Management of Digital Transformation". In 2018, he contributed to the emergence of a course dedicated to "Digital Creativity" with the "Grande Ecole du Numérique" label. He is involved in numerous institutions on digital entrepreneurship, business strategy and creativity, including IMT Business School, Science Po, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, CNRS, IGPDE, etc. As an entrepreneur, he was a partner in a start-up company, which advises local authorities on digital uses, and in 2012 he co-founded a communication agency, an agency specialising in personal communication and influence strategy. After starting his career as a consultant in information and communication technologies, he now supports many digital entrepreneurs. Flavien Bazenet is engaged in several associative projects, ex. municipal councillor in Jouy-en-Josas, in the Yvelines, administrator of SIANA, a culture factory and administrator of Le Cube, a pioneering digital creation centre in France.
