Olivier LOPEZ

Faculty Bio

Olivier Lopez is Professor in actuarial sciences at Ensae. He is co-director of the master Statistics, Finance and Actuarial Sciences of Institut Polytechnique de Paris. From 2016 to 2023, he directed the Institute of Statistics of Sorbonne Universite (ISUP). He is a fully qualified member of the French actuarial association (Institut des actuaires), member of its scientific committee since 2013. His main research topics are related to the application of statistics and machine learning to actuarial science, and to the evaluation of emerging risks (natural disasters, cyber...).
