Hi!ckathon

Objective

The Hi!ckathon is an event organised by the interdisciplinary Hi! Paris centre, which brings together HEC Paris and the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). Hi! Paris is dedicated to Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, at the service of science, economy and society.

The Hi!ckathon is a hackathon with a two-month preparation followed by a 48-hour final sprint (most likely mid-January). Participants are coached by data scientists and consultants from the sponsoring companies. The jury, composed of academics, data science experts and representatives of Hi! Paris' sponsor companies, will select 5 teams out of the 20 or so teams in the competition. 

The 5 weeks of preparation consist of courses, exercises and coaching sessions in order to provide the students with all the tools necessary for the successful completion of the hackathon, the subject of which will be specified later.

The Hi!ckathon allows students to practice data science from a business perspective. 

The evaluation will be done through the project defense.
