ENSAE graduates are trained to harness the potential of the massive and complex data available to firms and public institutions, and interpret them “smartly” for evaluation, prediction and decision-making. ENSAE’s core courses consist of a special blend of Economics, Statistics, Econometrics and Machine learning, all taught with strong mathematical foundations and coupled with the ability to apply the methods to real-life topics. This unique core curriculum, complemented with advanced specialization tracks in Economics, Statistical Learning, Quantitative Finance and Actuarial Science, is ENSAE’s take on “Data Science”. A small institution, ENSAE prides itself in “knowing students by their first names”, accompanying them in their project, offering challenging courses taught by its internationally recognized faculty, and leading to high-paid career paths.
ENSAE provides a high-level training in Econometrics and Quantitative methods applied to Economics and Statistics. Its Ingénieur ENSAE program prepares students to become experts in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Quantitative Finance and Risk Management or in Quantitative Sociology. High-quality courses are delivered in various fields as the Econometric Evaluation of Public Policies, Machine Learning, advanced micro- and macroeconomics, Stochastic Calculus, Bayesian Statistics, Dynamic Programming, Risk Theory, etc.
The Ingénieur ENSAE Program is a three-year Program. Each academic year is organized into semesters.
The program blends theoretical courses, applied projects, seminars and internships.

International student admission
Depending on their academic background, international students may be admitted either into the first or into the second year of the 3-year Ingénieur ENSAE program.
For international students, the admission process combines a written exam in Mathematics and a motivation interview. Qualifications based on previous academic results are also taken into account. As a prerequisite, they must hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, in Quantitative Economics or in Quantitative Finance, of comparable standards in their home countries.
Although more and more courses are delivered in English, courses are mainly taught in French.
1,850 € / year (three-year program)
This state-controlled program is also accredited by the French Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur
