Any ENSAE internship can be carried out abroad. Students having chosen a part-time internship during the 3rd year cannot apply for internships abroad for obvious reasons. Nevertheless, discovery, practice or year-long internships abroad are highly advisable.
Students have to do their research by themselves. The internship office along with the assistant-professors and the language department will help them write their assessment letters, CVs and tell them how to get recommendation letters. Opportunities of internships abroad are offered by the office, mainly in London, Frankfort, New-York or Tokyo. Those internships take place either in French firms abroad or in international organizations.
Internships have to be chosen according to their appropriateness to ENSAE objectives.
One-year internships enable students to spend a long time abroad at the expense of the firm or organization. Students may choose a year internship in the same firm or work in two one-semester internships in different organizations.
