The PhD diploma leads to careers in
Both types of institutions share the same job market.
In general, a PhD student takes courses during the first two years, then carries out a research project under the supervision of a senior researcher for three years. Only excellent students can be admitted into PhD programs, but, once accepted, students benefit from scholarships for almost all the time of their study. PhD Students giving up the program after two years are ususally awarded a Master of Science degree. In some cases, students can apply for a PhD program after following a Master of Science in the same institution. Only top ranking MSc students stand good chances of carrying on into research programs. |
