The first year internship takes place during the summer between the first and the second year of the program. It lasts from 4 weeks to 2 months between mid-June and the beginning of September. This internship has no technical or scientific objective. Its goal is to confront students with "real life" tasks, which may consist of a wide range of jobs:
Students must be able to take advantage of this internship to become aware of the realities of life in a firm, in particular work organization, and to clarify their personal long term professional project. Students must write up a report on their experience and defend it. It is quite common for these internships to take place abroad.
